‘Green’ electricity for Bihar villages

N. Gopal Raj, The Hindu: 24/11/2009

The company they went on to create has begun establishing small power plants driven by gases from rice husk, a widely available agricultural waste. There are big plans for the future.

Lalgarh is not the only one !!

I would like to attract the attention towards the incident happened in Lalgarh, WB. I feel its the result of discriminative attitude of state govt and non implementation of programs that would improve the life standard of the people of Lalgarh. Rs 1000 fine on helping police clearly shows the economical status of the area. Its definitely a political problem and needs more focus on rural development issues.
